Lunch in the Park
JB called and said – I’ve got chicken and bread and stuff .. lets eat somewhere in the sunshine. Good Idea I thought. Off to Carlton Gardens to take advantage of the perfect picnicking weather. Blue Skies, not too hot to sit in the sun, not too hot for sensible clothing. Nice 🙂
I got a perfect park on Rathdowne Street behind a cute Ford Anglia and we ate cold roasted chicken, salad, baguette, pineapple and rockmelon and read our books until the clouds came over.
